About S. Michael...

S. Michael Greene is a native of Dallas, TX.  S. Michael has excelled in the area of academics throughout his primary education career in the Dallas and DeSoto Independent School Districts.  S. Michael received a W.E.B. Dubious academic scholarship from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA.  During his tenure, S. Michael was honored by the National Dean’s List for three consecutive semesters. While attending Morris Brown College in Atlanta, S. Michael joined the Salem Bible Church where Jasper Williams Jr. is the Senior Pastor.  After accepting his “calling” to the Gospel Ministry he became the youngest member of the ministerial staff at Salem.  S. Michael, under the leadership of Vice Pastor Jasper Williams III, was instrumental in starting the College Ministry.

Following God’s plan S. Michael Greene moved back to Dallas to be in full time Ministry.  He served as the Associate Pastor of Children at the Concord Church for more than 10 years, where Rev. Dr. Bryan Carter is the Senior Pastor and the late Dr. E.K. Bailey was the Founding Pastor.  His last four years at Concord, S. Michael served as the Senior Associate Pastor of Next Gen Ministries.  He had the opportunity to give leadership to Nursery, Children, Youth and Young Adult Ministries.  It was his responsibility and privilege to prepare a clear spiritual foundation for young people from birth to 45ish.

​S. Michael hosted the Children’s Ministry Magazine Live Regional Conference for two consecutive years.  He has attended National Children’s Pastor Conferences from Atlanta to San Diego.  S. Michael has volunteered in Dallas, De Soto and Arlington Independent School Districts.   S. Michael has written curriculum for Children’s ministry for almost 10 years.  Some of his best work is a Curriculum entitled GIANTS.  This Curriculum explores giants in the Bible and teaches children how to deal with the giants in their everyday lives. Under his leadership, the Children’s Ministry at Concord reached thousands in the community through the Easter Extravaganza, Harvest Time Carnival (an alternative to Halloween), Vacation Bible School and Concord’s Summer Day Camp.

​Recently S. Michael decided to use his nearly 15 years of Children and Youth Ministry experience and form the Servant Leader’s Ministry Group.  A group that is committed to showing today’s church how to create effective ministries.  The Servant Leader’s Ministry Group’s goal is to encourage and equip ministers and leaders for ministry.  S. Michael earned his Bachelors of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also completed a Masters of Theological Studies from Dallas Baptist University.  S. Michael Greene is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies at Dallas Baptist University. He has one son, Shellie "Landon' Michael Greene.
